Awarded by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), the MyHijau certification recognizes K2 Bitumen’s CRMB as a certified green product. This certification highlights our role in advancing Malaysia’s low-carbon and circular economy initiatives, through the innovative use of recycled rubber and environmentally responsible production methods. It reinforces our dedication to reducing greenhouse gas emissions while supporting sustainable road construction practices.
SIRIM Eco-Label Certification
The SIRIM Eco-Label serves as a hallmark of environmental integrity and product sustainability. It certifies that our CRMB production process minimizes carbon footprint, optimizes energy and material efficiency, and aligns with eco-friendly manufacturing standards. MySTI Certification
Our Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen (CRMB) is certified under the Malaysian Standardization and Industrial Research Institute’s MySTI registration (STI202501007). This certification verifies that K2 Bitumen’s products meet stringent national standards for performance, consistency, and safety. It ensures full compliance with the JKR Standard Specification (Section 4: Flexible Pavement) and REAM-SP 7/2018, affirming our product’s reliability for public infrastructure and heavy-duty road applications.
JKR RMAL Approval
K2 Bitumen’s CRMB is officially approved by the Public Works Department (JKR) under its Maklumat Bahan/Barangan Diluluskan (RMAL) listing, product code JJ0901025.MJ168.J180, valid until August 2025. This approval certifies that our product meets JKR’s strict performance, durability, and safety requirements for flexible pavements. It enables our bitumen to be used confidently in federal and state-level road projects, further validating its superior quality and compliance.
